Meet Bishop Joseph Quainoo, B.Sc, Dip.Ed. M.S., MA(Theology & Missions), D.Min
A man who loves God and His Word, Bishop Quainoo is originally from the village of Enchi in the Western North Region of Ghana, West Africa.
He immigrated to the United States where he completed his schooling in Botany at the University of Rhode Island and then Theology and Missions at Akrofi-Christallar Institute of Theology, Missions and Culture (Ghana), and Gordon-Conwell Seminary (South Hamilton, Massachusetts.) After more than 20 years in the Pastoral ministry, he answered the call to full-time Missions and the assignment of Bible Translation. He is leading a team to translate the Bible into the Anyii language. Primarily an oral language, a Bible has not been printed in Anyii. This will be the inaugural Bible printed in Anyii. Bishop Quainoo loves his family.
He is married to Dr. Vanessa Wynder Quainoo and they are the parents
of three Adult Sons, two Daughters-in-law and five precious Grandchildren.
Dr. Mercy A. Nuamah currently works at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, UNIVERSITY OF GHANA SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AND DENTISTRY. Mercy does research in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. Their most recent publication is 'Prevalence of adhesions and associated postoperative complications after cesarean section in Ghana: A prospective cohort study'.
